Mavis Lucille Whitehead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mavis Lucille Whitehead of Pierceton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fathers, William Arthur "Blackie" Peden and Tom Jones (Stotts); her husband Marvin Dean Whitehead; her daughter Twinda Whitehead; her grandson Johnathon Whitehead; and her brothers, Adolph Peden and Rudolph Peden.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda D. Myers, Christopher Whitehead (Carolyn), Judy Scarlet Whitehead, T. Clark Whitehead (Doris Isabel) and John Whitehead; and her sisters, Duronda Campbell and Amber Lattimore. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given in memory to Mavis' granddaughter, Amanda; benefiting her continued care, checks payable to James Crouse.
