He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Whitehead and Jesse Whitehead (Ritter); his siblings, Faye, Pat Hervey and Leon Whitehead; and his grandson Johnathon Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Whitehead; his children, Twinda Whitehead, Brenda Myers, Chris Whitehead (Carol), Scarlet Whitehead, Clark Whitehead (Carol) and John Whitehead; and his siblings, Roy Whitehead and Carolyn Whitehead. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
