He was predeceased by: his mother Paula Ann (Smith); and his great grandchild Tatum Berner. He is survived by: his wife Sharon DeVille; his children, Laura Tucker (Jeremiah) of Columbia City, IN, James P. Berner, III of Warsaw, IN and Tyler Berner of Claypool, IN; his stepchildren, Sarah Reimer (Dewey) of Pierceton, IN, Brian Stratton of Warsaw, IN and Stephanie Lee (Zachary) of Pierceton, IN; his father James P. Berner (Marilyn) of Warsaw, IN; and his siblings, Michael Berner (Katie D'Alessio) of Glendale, AZ and Susan Burch (Loren) of Warsaw, IN. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild.
