We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, Gene Burkett of Pierceton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Burkett and Magdline Burkett (Judd); his wife Wilma Barger; his brothers, Don Burkett and Tom Burkett; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Akers and Tim Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Burkett Pierceton (Kenny Ousley); his granddaughters, Larkin Hicks (Dee Grady) of Columbia City and Starlin Hicks (Daniel Jenkins) of Liberty Mills, IN; his great grandchild Maddilynn Jenkins; and his sisters, Carol Sue Akers of Michigan, Alice Sparks (Jerry) of Sidney and Liz Campbell of South Whitley.
With the concerns of COVID-19 the family is planning a Celebration of life at a later date.
