Wayne Nelson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Wayne Nelson of Petersburg, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Nelson and Ethel L. Nelson (Ice); and his brothers, Russell and Boyde. He is survived by: his children, Carole O'Rourke (Robert) of Petersburg and Brian W. Nelson of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Shawn O'Rourke (Laura) of Brownsburg and Kelsey Strong (Barry) of Petersburg; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Alton O'Rourke, Aurora, Alistair and Alaric Strong; and his brother Bert Nelson of Terre Haute. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a graveside service will be held at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 p. m., Pastor Paul Newton officiating.
