Vance Hays Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Hays of Petersburg, Indiana, born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Norman Hays and Barbara Jane Hays; his children, Matthew Hays (Melissa) and Darcee Hays Woodland (Michael); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Woodland, Zoey Hays, Brynn Hays and Samuel Hays; his sisters, Jane Scott (Walter), Julie Martin (Stan) and Shari Rudibaugh (Jack); and his wife Shari Hays.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vance and Shari Hays Performing Arts Fund through the Pike County Community Foundation. Donations may be sent to the Pike County Community Foundation at PO Box 587, Petersburg, IN 47567.
