With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Doyle Nelson of Petersburg, Indiana, born in Oakland City, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry Nelson Jr., Carolyn Parkhill, Michael "Cowboy" Nelson, Sherry Nelson and Menetta Strobel; and his parents, Henry Nelson Sr. and Menta Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Sue Nelson; his goddaughters, Deidra Braun and Bridget Hargus; and his in-laws, Larry, Norma Smolek, Steve English and Jeri Worland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Winslow Legion or Moose Lodge in Petersburg in Tim's honor, as he was a longtime member of both organizations.
