He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shawhan and Mabel Shawhan (Henke); and his siblings, Flo Phillips and David Shawhan. He is survived by: his wife Marsha (Cook); his children, Douglas Shawhan (Bobbie), Sara Dillon (Tony) and Jennifer Houchins (Andrew); his grandchildren, Samantha, Adam Baumgart, Darby Shawhan, Morgan, Kenadie and Harper Houchins; and his sister-in-law Beverly Sturgeon (Les).
