He was predeceased by: his parents, Oril "Bill" Dent and Mary Lou (Brock); and his siblings, Loretta Miley, Bonita Smith, Diane Dent and Chad Dent.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Dent; his brother Greg Dent; and his children, Missy Windle (Mickey) of Peterburg, Chrystale Davis (Jeff) of Petersburg and Tony Hill.
