He is survived by: his wife Betty Purl (Shepherd); his children, Damon, Randy, Mark Purl and Cathy Robbins; and his sisters, Lynn Heacock and Doris Ann Price. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
