He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Ficklin and Ardella Ficklin (Seng); his brothers, Ron and Jim Ficklin; and his father-in-law Richard Wood.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Ficklin (Wood); his children, Dan Ficklin and Jennifer (Hunter Oxby); his granddaughter Della Oxby; his mother-in-law Elisabeth Wood; and his sisters-in-law, Andrea Wood and Debby Ficklin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the O. D. Harris Funeral Homes (705 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
