He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Willis and Myrtle Willis (Hill); and his siblings, Wayne Willis, Virginia Jobe and Kathryn Willis.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Willis; his daughter Teri Couts (Tyley); and his grandchildren, Trajan Couts and Eowyn Couts.
