She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Myers and June Myers (Newkirk); and her brother Denny Myers. She is survived by: her husband Ron Carter of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Nate Carter, Kody Carter, Bethany Carter and Dominick Smith; and her siblings, Reggie Myers of Petersburg, Barbara Wilson and Sheila Hieple of Petersburg.
