Delbert A. Riddle Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delbert A. Riddle of Petersburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester B. Riddle and Mintie Davis Riddle; his wife Mary Margaret Rafferty; his daughter Sharon Day; his granddaughter Jennifer West; and his siblings, Elbert Riddle and Avaline Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, Carol West (Marshall) of Seymour, Jana Craig (Chris) of North Vernon, Jack Douglas Riddle (Peach) of Petersburg and Don Riddle of North Vernon; and his brothers, Deward Riddle (Barbara) of Liberty, Louiard Riddle (Wanda) of Liberty and James Riddle (Star) of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people in the funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow social distancing guidelines and masks are required inside the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Riley Hospital for Children.
