It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara L. Pancake (Petersburg, Indiana), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Eugene Jones (Gene) and Ruby Marie Jones (Glassford); her brother Charles Jones (Ritchie); her daughter-in-law Shona Pancake; her nephew Jamie Jones; and her niece Jayme Gibbs (Jones).
She is survived by: her sons, Donald L. Pancake (Judy) and Frank E. Pancake (Pam); her husband Donald R. Pancake; her grandchildren, Jacob Pancake (Meredith), Logan Pancake (Ellen), Alexandrea McCormick (Will), Draven Pancake (Haley Biggs), Maverick Pancake, Cody Jines (Mackenzie), Skylar Willis, Noah Willis, Jacob Smith (Joy) and Melissa Roberts (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Gavin, Elysia, Layne, Lily Pancake, Carter, Austyn Jines, Kaylee Watson (Jordan), Tyler (Nicole) and Cassandra Kitterman; her great great grandchild Royse Watson; and her siblings, James Jones, Beverly Robling, Oni Loh (Larry) and Paula Anderson (Marc).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (705 Walnut St, Petersburg, IN 47567). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
