He was predeceased by: his parents, Cortney B. Willis and Esther Lorene Willis (Jones); his siblings, Dexter Jean Loveless, Dorothy Freeland and Mary Mitchell; and his grandson Ryan Furman.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Robert Willis (Tara Summers) and Ronnie Willis (Brandy); his grandsons, Cody Willis (Tina) and Jacob Willis (Morgann); and his great grandchildren, Carter and Ellie Willis.
