He was predeceased by: his daughter Selima Rose. He is survived by: his wife Ruby J. Fairchild of LaFontaine; his children, Wesley Fairchild of LaFontaine, James Fairchild of LaFontaine, Michelle Shelton of LaFontaine and Sherry Fairchild of Peru; and his siblings, Paula Sloat of Rochester, Sheila Honeycutt of Akron, Michael Sadler and Phillip Sadler. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
