He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tyman Miller, Sr. and Ruby L. Miller (Lain); his wife Dorothy Jane McWhorter; his brother Michael Lain Miller; and his grandson Matt Curtis.
He is survived by: his son William Tyman "W. T." Miller (Niki); his stepchildren, Debra Bynes (Tom) and Don Rhodes (Lori); his grandchildren, Kelly Rhodes, Jason Yoder, Nathan Curtis, Jacob Miller, William Tyman Miller, IV and Brady Hines; his great grandchild Theodore Miller; and his sister Kay Backman (Bob).
