He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva McCarty and Elsie Laverne McCarty (McGuire); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Fouts, Doris IrenePursch, Wilma Maxine Garrison, Lois J. McCarty, Ruth Miles, Betty June Bauer, Beverly Ann Pearson and Robert Lee McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McCarty (Wilburn); his children, Steven McCarty and Lori Thomas (Eric) of Tucson, AZ; his grandson Erik Walls (Caya); his brother Donald Logansport (Kay); and his brother-in-law Roland "Tom" Wilburn. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
