He was predeceased by: his father Walter P. May; and his siblings, Don May and Maxine Clute. He is survived by: his wife Nancy May (Anderson); and his stepchildren, Ben Hoover of Jacksonville, Georgia and Amy Hoover of Independence. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren.
