He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvia Brooks and Lucy Brooks (Lardino); his son Nathan Brooks; and his siblings, Don, David, Glen, Bill, Cecil, Jimmy Brooks, Mary Waso and Helen Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; his children, Denise Brooks of Peru, Robert Brooks (Lynn) of Hanover and Michael Brooks of Bunker Hill, Indiana; his grandchildren, Sage, Chase, Trena, Eron and Eathan; and his siblings, Terry Brooks (Sandy) of Mexico, Tex Brooks (Abby) of Denver, Virginia Massey (Fred) of Peru, Betty Brown of Mexico and Vicky Deardorff (Kerry) of Mexico, Indiana.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mexico First Brethren Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
