He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eli and Otha Bell Hawk Burton; and his siblings, Oliver Eugene Burton, David "Tinker" Burton, Nancy Mae Hunt, Mary Ann Denham and Charles Robert Hawk.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Burton (Elizabeth A.) of Peru, Andre Burton (Hope) of Peru and Adaline Cunningham (David) of Peru; his grandchildren, Austin (Kylie), Ashton, Alec, Jessica, Elizabeth J., Hannah Burton, Tristan, Jocelynn and Jasper Cunningham; his siblings, Myrtle Correll (David), Betty Gebhardt, Geraldine Correll, George Kenneth Burton (Patty), Linda Sue Waymire and Jane Burton; his significant other Joanne Forbes; and his significant other's children, Dennis Fink (Rhonda) of Wisconsin Rapids, Randy Fink (Darla) of Wisconsin Rapids, Shirley Prescher (Bud) of Wisconsin Rapids and Darcie Krupinski (Keith). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
