He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ray Poland and Lucille Mae Poland Lugenbeal (Hoos); his son Donnie Poland; his brother Thomas Poland; and his brothers-in-law, Robert (Linda) and Philip.
He is survived by: his wife Susan (Jones); his grandchildren, Kyle, Mitchell, Rick, Adam and Tabitha; and his brothers-in-law, James Jones of Peru and Thomas Jones (Sherry Hudson) of Kokomo, Indiana.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
