Ackerman of Peru, Indiana, born in Clairton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ackerman and Mabel Ackerman (Shupe); and his brother Maynard Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ackerman; his children, Karen Lee Hansen (Douglas) and Ronald Scott Ackerman; his grandsons, Jordan Hendershot and Caleb Hendershot; and his grandson-in-law Yilmar Garcia.
