He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Martin and Beulah Martin (Rayl); his son Dane Martin; his granddaughter Autumn Louise Martin; and his siblings, Charles Martin, Tom Martin, William Martin, Robert Michael Martin and Loretta Weiser.

He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Robert Martin of Peru, Rhonda Butzin (Herman) of Peru, Kristie Bowman (Tom) of Kokomo and Angela Conway (Dennis); his grandchildren, Kyle Myers (Michelle), Anthany Martin, Brendan Martin, Elyssabeth Martin, Kelsey Rodriguez (Jon), Gabriel Butzin and Isaiah Butzin; his great grandchildren, Logan Myers (Isabella Jenkins), Seth Myers, Erik Myers and Oliver Martin; his great great grandchild Blakely Myers; his sister Vickie Turley; and his daughter-in-law Caryl Martin.
