Roberta Sanderson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Sanderson of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde A. Jones and Sylvia M. Jones (Pier); her former husband Harold Hileman; her husband John W. Sanderson; and her siblings, Joan Burke, Larry Jones and Marvin Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dennis Jones (Marcia Mullikin) of Peru, Marilyn Carr of Yorktown, IN and Donna Eckelbarger (Joe) of Peru; and her grandchildren, Christopher Hileman (Joanna), Adam Butt (Erica), Andrea Young, Megan Bullins (Mike), Dustin Chase (Karah) and Lance Chase (Brooke). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was involved with numerous organizations such as Dukes Auxiliary, Pink Ladies, American Cancer Society, American Baptist Women Society, Missionary Services and Meals on Wheels.
