He was predeceased by: his mothers, Mildred Poore Courtney, Sr. and Linda Porter; and his brother Earl Courtney, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Tanya Cox (Tim) and Michael Courtney (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Joshua Cox (Paula), Matthew Cox (Alli), Aaron Cox (Jade), Rebekah Raffa (Gabe), Melanie White (Shad) and Nolan Courtney; and his brothers, Stanley and Gary.
