We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 84, Richard William Hammersley of Peru, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Hammersley and Georgia Hammersley (Jackson); and his sister Diana Blakley. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Hillyer; his sons, Dr. Brad Hammersley of Peru and Rev. Jason Hammersley (Susan) of Aiken, SC; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Hammersley, Rachel Hammersley, Lucas Hammersley and Sam Jacobs.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the First Presbyterian Church or to Circus City Festival Inc.
