We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2022, at the age of 67, Rebecca Jean McWhirt of Peru, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James O. LaFerney and Anna Belle LaFerney; and her siblings, James LaFerney of Richvalley, Betty Hawkins of Peru and Linda Ness of California.
She is survived by: her siblings, Francis Burke of Kokomo, Patsy Holmes of Peru, Sandra Slyder of Florida and Orbrit LaFerney of Rochester; and her grandchildren, Kylie Sparks of Peru, Kourtney Sparks of Peru and Kristian Sparks of Peru. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Flowers-Leedy in Peru to help cover the cost.
