Ray E. Hanaway Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray E. Hanaway of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velva Hanaway and Frances Hanaway (Butt) of Peru; his sister-in-law Carolyn Hanaway; and his cousins, Beverly Watkins, David Stouffer and Gary Durkes.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Cecil of Wabash; his children, Michael Hanaway (Tricia), Brenda Runkle (Rich), Carmel, Christina (Andrew) and Joy Rediger (James); his grandchildren, Michaela Runkle and Denver; his children, Jacob Hanaway (Kaitlyn), Connor Hanaway (Morgan) of Johnstown, CO, Zane Hanaway, Caleb, Peter, LeAnna Kalvelage of Pennsauken, NJ and Emma Rediger; his brother John; his nephew David; his niece Susan; and his cousin Joe Stout (Jan) of Peru.
