Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary E Christner of Peru, Indiana, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 98, on September 21, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Troyer and Isabel Troyer; her husband Weldon Christner; her daughter Diane Powell; and her siblings, Robert Troyer Jr. and Majorie Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Helms (Mike) of Peru; her son-in-law David Powell of Miami County; her grandchildren, Michael Powell (Ashantae) of Bunker Hill and Katie Schloemer (Jeremiah) of Kokomo; and her great grandchildren, Grace Powell, Lennon Powell and JT McMillen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Amboy, IN 46911). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kokomo Rescue Mission.
