She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoover and Beulah Cooper Hoover; her former husband Joseph Koontz; her husband Joe; her son Joseph J. Koontz; and her siblings, William Hoover and Ellen Hoover Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Kistler (Mark) of Logansport, Fran Hileman (Randy) of Denver, IN, Liz Ousley (Don) of Peru, Jennifer Cardwell (Mark) of Peru and Lori Hartleroad (Greg) of Peru; her daughter-in-law Barbara Koontz; her grandchildren, Christopher Kistler, Josh Kistler, William Kistler, Sean Kistler, Jeromy Hileman, Amber Hileman Kercher, Christen Ousley Lowe, Jon Ousley, Rachel Ousley Colwell, Megan Cardwell Perez, Justin Hartleroad and Kaylie Hartleroad; her brother Hiram Hoover (Stella) of Kewanna; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Rose (Hoover) and Larry Baker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the Shriner's Hospital of Chicago.
