He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Burgee Garrett and Lona V. Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Tammara S. Garrett of Peru; his children, Paul Garrett of Iowa, Tina Wood of Iowa, Shonda Schafer of Iowa, Marlon Garrett, Jr. of Wabash, Russell Garrett of Wabash, Timothy Garrett of Wabash, Thomas Garrett of Peru and Tianne Mantle of Wabash; and also Murlene Wolter of Watervliet, Michigan.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
