He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter W. Shaffran and Marguerite E. Fishback Shaffran; his wife Patty; and his siblings, Fredrick Rooker (Jack), Bernard Rooker and Charlene Rooker.
He is survived by: his significant other Rob Burnett; his daughters, Anne Roth (Gary Roth) and Kathryn "Kate" Weber (Al) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Amber Roth (TJ), Thaddeus True, Tori True and Tanner True (Riley); his great grandchildren, Emmit True, Logan Barrett, Jessa Barrett, Brody Barrett, Austin Barrett and Kane Barrett; and his brother Don Rooker. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Mian St., Peru, IN to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
