He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Yerkes and JoEllen Galloway Yerkes; his spouse Beverly Shidler; his stepchildren, Lisa Fry-Van Es (Rich) of Logansport, Mark Fry of Logansport, Mike Fry (Toni) of Logansport, George Ebey (Brooke) of Delphi and Jim Ebey (Gloria) of Ocala, Florida; and his siblings, Debe (Tom) of Zionsville, Dina (Tom) of Pennsylvania and Don (Jan) of Colorado. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
