The passing of Lessie Irene Cook of Peru, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Walker and Vida Buchanon; her spouse Thomas N. Cook Sr.; her daughter Joyce Cook; her son-in-law Doug Cook; and her siblings, Leroy, Georgie, Butch, Howard, Marvin, Edna, Bess and Geneva.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Bickel of Peru, Thomas N. Cook Jr. (Donna) of Peru and Jennifer Stevens (Brad) of Peru, Indiana.; and her brother Jack of Ohio. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home (105 W 3rd St, Peru, IN 46970). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (331 W 6th St, Peru, IN 46970).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
