With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Ahnert Sr. of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on May 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Emil and Susie Faye Helm Ahnert; his wife Bonnie Rae Bryan; and his siblings, George, Ray, Lawrence, Lewis Ahnert (Bud), Harriet Guss, Iva Herrell and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen (Randy), Leonard Jr. (Pam) of Mexico, IN, Robert (Kamala) of Kokomo and William Ahnert (Jayne) of Kokomo; and his pets, Cooper and Brandee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
