He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Stockdale and Iris Stockdale. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Halley Stockdale; his brother James Allen Stockdale (Linda); his children, Deborah (Timothy Alwine), Melissa (John Guyer) and Brian Stockdale; his grandchildren, Courtney Alwine (Allie), Chandler Alwine (Kyndale), Maddison Guyer, Brogan Guyer, Macey Stockdale, Jeremy Stockdale, Brittany Barnes (Cody) and Noah Goulette; and his great grandchildren, Maverick Alwine, Harper Alwine, Kinsley Hoover and Ridge Barnes.
