Juanita left this world on June 9, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Rex E. Mays; her parent Oscar; her siblings, Joretta Kerschner, Annette Stout and Francis Summers; her siblings-in-law, Paul Kerschner, Don Ramsey, Carl Mays and Joan Mays; and her in-laws, Lawrence and Pearl Mays.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Minard (Greg) of Peru, Curtis Mays (Anna) of Kingston, WA and Doug Mays (Karen) of Wabash; her grandchildren, Dustin Minard (Katie), Corey Minard (Alexis), Lucas Mays (Sarah), Trevor Mays, Parker Mays and Kayla Mays; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Haleigh, Nash, Nataley, Jackson, Elijah, Delilah and Mason Minard; her great great grandchildren, Aubree and Liam; her brothers, David Summers (Connie) of Wabash and Scott Summers (Stephanie) of Roann; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Ramsey of Lebanon and David Stout of Wabash. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests your consideration of making a donation through the Miami County Community Foundation to either the Rex E. Mays Memorial Fund to support youth and promote sportsmanship or the M & M (Mays & Minard) Give Back Community Fund to support the Miami County community grants program.
