He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ryan and Bessie Wise Ryan; his brother Robert (Joan); his son John K. (Jackie); and his grandsons, Richard W. Taylor III and Jack Robert Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Pearson; his daughters, Melanie "Susie" Taylor (Richard) and Jerri Stapleton (Larry); his brother-in-law Frank Pearson (Jenny); his grandchildren, Sarah Kritzman (Alex), Darcey Hazlett (Nolan), Dustin Clark, Elizabeth, Nathan, Amy and Ryan Taylor (Kerianne); his great grandchildren, Emma, Eli, Parker, Olivia, Grayson, Bret, Tirzah, Lily and Hudson; and his daughter Linda.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Circus City Festival Scholarship fund in memory of John at the funeral home or to the CCFI office.
