She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hierholzer and Genevieve Jirik; her former husband Clifford Malott Jr.; her husband Richard Birkey; her daughter Teresa Malott; her grandson Craig Malott; and her siblings, John Hierholzer, Ray Hierholzer, Irene Hamby, Dorothy Bird, Carol Johnson and Ruth Fenimore.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Malott of Peru, Thomas Malott (Chanda) of Walton, Lance Malott (Deanna) of New Castle and Chad Malott (Julie) of Peru; and her grandchildren, Mikaela Malott, McKenna Malott, Macauley Malott, Grant Malott, Olivia Malott, Landon Malott, Jackson Malott, Corbin Malott, Macey Titus, Mitchel Malott, Mallory Rebollar, Cassidy Malott, Bailey Brazzel, Chris Malott and Brandi Wilhoit. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
