It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Griffith of Peru, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Knott and Thelma Knott; her husband Gerald C. Griffith; her brother Roy Knott; her brother-in-law John Mills; her daughter-in-law Lois Griffith; and her grandchild-in-law Reece Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Gallagher (John) of Toledo, OH, David Griffith (Julie) of Perrysburg, OH, Suzanne Prestien (Mark) of New Wilmington, PA, Andy Griffith (Sara) of Roanoke, VA, Kathleen Griffith of Peru, IN and Amy Darland (Dick) of Peru, IN; her sister Joyce Mills of Columbus, IN.; her grandchildren, David Griffith, Gerald "Charlie" Griffith, Patrick Griffith, Emma Prestien, Reece Griffith, Mark "Austin" Griffith, Ashlee Martin and Laurel Darland; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Alex, Miles and Cole Griffith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
