He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Iona Grace Nice; his siblings, Linda Keith and Tommy Nice; and his son Johnnie Keown.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Nice of Peru; his children, Jeffrey Keown of Florida, Lisa Sharp (Dennis) of Peru, Buford "Bo" Nice of Peru, Michael Nice (Rachael) of Peru and Gloria Luke (James) of Peru; and his siblings, David Nice of Peru, Terry Nice of Peru, Richard Nice of Peru, Larry Nice (Toni) of Peru, Jeff Nice of Peru, Tim Nice (Michelle) of LaPorte, Penny Young (Alan) of Knox and Becky Brandt (Bobby) of Knox.
