She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Wilson and Annette Wilson (Staples); her husband Lavel Burney, Sr.; and her siblings, Roosevelt, James, Erise, Sammie, Usher, Lucious and Curly Tucker.

She is survived by: her children, Cornell Wilson of Columbus, Yevette Jones (Eddis) of Norton Shores, MI and Lavel Burney, Jr. of Peru, IN; her brothers, Pearly Wilson of Illinois and Johnny Wilson; her grandchildren, Nekiea Wilson, Christopher Burney of Kokomo, IN, Christian Burney (Hannah) of Fishers, IN, Lavel Burney III of Peru, IN, Makenna Burney, Julian Levine of Peru, IN, Audrianna Burney of Norton Shores, MI., Jarvis Gunter and Jarell Gunter; and her great grandchildren, Keny, Rilynn, Milles, Sylus and Haven Grace.
