He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Barr and Everal Barr; his brother Allen Barr; and his niece Kathleen "Kathy" Barr. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Barr; his children, Donna Kay Poe (Pete), Randy Barr (Christy), Gayle Darland (Vince) and Tim Barr; his siblings, Ralph Barr (Jean), Gene Barr, Roberta Johnson and Lucille Barr-Robertson; and his grandchildren, Justin Poe, Dustin Poe, Jessica (Candis Huffman), Erika King, Alex Barr, Celeste Kanka, Madelyn Kanka, Sylvia Sylvester, Joseph Barr and Audrey Kanka. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Millers Merry Manor/Rocksteady Boxing.
