With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Everett W. Monroe Jr. of Peru, Indiana, born in South Whitley, Indiana, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett W. Sr. Monroe and Lorene L Monroe (Stone); his son Todd Monroe; and his siblings, Thomas, Robert, Daniel, James "Butch", Jackie Monroe and Barbara Monroe.
He is survived by: his spouse Willadean Monroe (Henderson); his children, Kim Kistler of Logansport, Darrin Monroe (Nathan Plant) of Logansport and Kathleen Kistler of Logansport; his siblings, Richard Monroe (Bonnie), Ralph Monroe (Anna), David (Zeny), Donald (Diane) and Joyce Monroe (Clarence); his sister-in-law Jan Monroe; his grandsons, Matthew Gillem (Megan), Mark Gillem and Brandon Gillem; and his pet Gidget. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 situation and in honoring the family's request, the visitation from noon to 2 p. m. is also limited to family and close friends.
