He was predeceased by: his parents, Fayne Flenner and Edna Flenner (Berger); his wives, Edna Mae and Opal; his daughter Martha "Nancy" Miller; his brother Donald (Galen Flenner); and his nephew Thomas Flenner.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey (Ladele Flenner) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; his stepchildren, Linda (Eldon Redinger) of Rochester, Noel (Judy Kamp) of Rochester, Jeff (Cindi Kamp) of Avon and Neil (Pat Kamp) of Rochester; and his nieces, Amy (Douglas Robison) of Peru, Cindy (Richard Walker) of Columbia City and Julie (Ted Jones) of Little River. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
