It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer Blevins of Peru, Indiana, born in Wheelwright, Kentucky, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blevins and Vina Blevins (Tackett); his wife Betty J. Rickett; his children, Alan Blevins and Joy Von Hughes Monroe; and his siblings, Estill, Charles, James Edward Blevins, Betty Perry, Lulabell Blevins and Minnie Pearl Nickels.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Blevins, Elmer Blevins Jr. (Alice Luebke), Rick Blevins (Daisy), Brad Blevins, Christopher Nicolaysen (Karen), Debbie Justice (James), Shair Erickson (Byron) and Crystal Graf (Greg). He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and nine great great-grandchildren.
