It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Christensen of Peru, Indiana, born in Monticello, Indiana, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Chris Christensen and Lulu Bessie Christensen (Helfrich); his grandson Jason Christensen; and his siblings, Rut Christensen, Bob Christensen, Jim Christensen, Betty Christensen and Lou Lesley.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Christensen (Janet) of Nyona Lake, Teri Merritt (Dave) of Noblesville, Curt Christensen (Tracy) of Noblesville and Carl Christensen of Peru; his grandchildren, David Christensen (Kelly) of Louisville, Carly Christensen of Portage, MI, Christy McGuire (Chris) of Peru, Kelly Hines (Jason) of Noblesville, Andrew Petry of Colorado and Caitlin Warne (Jared) of Lafayette; and his sisters, Mary Baker of Monticello and Minnie Rayburn of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
