He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Peterson and Anne Peterson (Anderson); his wife Marlys Peterson (Moen); his son Brian Peterson; and his siblings, David and Ina.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Kako (Peterson) of Wadena, Robert Peterson of Wadena, Kristine Peterson of Sauk Rapids, Sherri Peterson of Sauk Rapids, Bradley Peterson (Kari) of Glenwood and Todd Peterson of Wadena; and his siblings, Margaret Lowe of Anoka, Devona Berry (Boyd) of Long Prairie and Dennis Peterson (Joan) of Clarissa. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
